MAUREEN CAVAIOLA WINS EXCELLENCE AWARD

Partners in Care Co-Founder receives Junior League $900 Award

Annapolis, MD [May 22, 2008] – Junior League of Annapolis, Inc., (JLA) awarded the 2008 Excellence in Volunteerism Award to Maureen Cavaiola, co-founder of Partners in Care, an Anne Arundel Count non-profit organization that assists older and disabled adults remain in their own homes by using a unique, service-exchange concept which engages its 2,400 member network to help each other. Ms. Cavaiola co-founded Partners in Care 15 years ago with the belief that everyone has something to contribute, and she has remained dedicated to its success and expansion.

Maureen received an engraved keepsake and a $900 donation to Partners in Care when she was recognized during the Junior League of Annapolis, Inc., April General Membership Meeting. Maureen is truly a “Woman Who Makes a Difference” in our community.
