Junior League of Annapolis Raises Over $100,000 at Seventh Annual “Chefs By The Bay” Auction and Gourmet Tasting Fundraiser (8/5/06)

Annapolis, MD – [April 5, 2006] – The Junior League of Annapolis, Inc. (JLA) is very excited to announce that the seventh annual  “Chefs by the Bay “ was a great success raising nearly $100,000 for charity. First Lady of Maryland, Kendel S. Ehrlich, served as the 2006 ‘Chefs by the Bay’ Honorary Chairwoman.

There were over 600 people in attendance on the evening of March 26th at the Sheraton Annapolis Hotel. Guests dined on gourmet cuisine prepared by  local chefs and were entertained by the sounds of the Discount Blues Band.  Silent and Live Auction items featured art, dining packages and trips including Park City, Utah and Naples, Florida.
