Thyme to Entertain: Menus and Traditions of Annapolis available in October 2007
Annapolis, MD [September 10, 2007] – The Junior League of Annapolis, Inc. announces the October 2007 debut of Thyme to Entertain: Menus & Traditions of Annapolis, an elegant coffee table style cookbook highlighting annual events and traditions around the Annapolis area featuring 13 chapters with party menus, 200 recipes, and 40 color photographs.
Each of the chapters includes menus as well as triple-tested recipes. Two of the chapters feature menus for a Day on the Bay, and a Steeplechase Picnic. Signature recipes include Sunshine Punch, Crab & Orzo Salad, Chipotle Hummus, First-Prize Bean Salsa, White Corn Salad, and delicious deserts like White Chocolate Mousse Dip, Terrapin Caramel Brownies, and Chocolate Toffee Cherry Cookies among others.
Proceeds from cookbook sales benefit the ongoing community outreach programs of the Junior League of Annapolis, Inc. which include It’s Elementary!, Juvenile Justice, Friends of Foster Care, Children’s Literacy, Community Assistance Donations, and Scholarship for Scholars.
