With the Chance to Win a $2,500 Cash Prize, Anne Arundel County is Invited to a thrilling Cash Bash Event Benefiting Local Women and Teens

ANNAPOLIS, Md. —December 19, 2012—The Junior League of Annapolis, Inc. (JLA) is an organization of women committed to improving the lives of women and teenagers in Anne Arundel County. In order to accomplish their local mission, JLA hosts community-focused fundraisers. On Tuesday, February 26, 2013 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Fado Irish Pub on West Street in Annapolis, JLA will host their first-ever Junior League of Annapolis Cash Bash charity event. Open to the public, all proceeds from the Cash Bash will directly benefit JLA’s community impact programs.

The big winner of the Junior League of Annapolis Cash Bash will walk away with a $2,500 cash prize. The rules of the event are simple. At the Cash Bash, each person will purchase at least one number (only 200 numbers will be sold), and throughout the evening numbers will be pulled until one number remains. The individual holding the last number receives the grand prize. You must be present to win. All guests attending the Junior League of Annapolis Cash Bash will enjoy the thrill of potentially walking away with $2,500, other $250 cash prizes and amazing raffle opportunities.

A registered 501(c) 3 organization, JLA is a group of more than 300 trained volunteers whose focus is to bridge the poverty gap in Anne Arundel County. Currently, Sarah’s House and Center of Help are the focus of our community impact projects and the causes that the majority of our yearly funds are supporting. Helping Hands is a program that helps children from non-English speaking households to integrate into their English speaking classes in school. Our program with Sarah’s House assists homeless women develop life skills so they will increase their chances of succeeding on their own after completing the rigorous SHINE program. This program focuses on self-awareness, decision-making skills, and parenting skills.
