JUNIOR LEAGUE OF ANNAPOLIS, INC.’S “VOLUNTEERS ON THE RUN 5K”
Annapolis, MD [date…] – Junior League of Annapolis, Inc. (JLA), invites the community to participate in the fourth annual Volunteers on the Run 5K at Quiet Waters Park in Annapolis on Sunday, September 19, 2010 at 8:30 AM.  This event is sponsored by Dr. Mairead M. O’Reilly, DDS, MS Orthodontics and Phoenix Systems.  Online registration for Volunteers on the Run 5K is available at www.active.com.

This is a family friendly event for racers, runners, and walkers. Pets are invited to participate.  Prizes will be presented for age groups 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 & over.  There will be a pre-race 100 yard dash for all children. Random post-race prizes will also be awarded for runners present.   Proceeds from this event will go towards supporting the ongoing community outreach programs of JLA which include It’s  Educational!, Homeless Outreach,  Public Advocacy and Community Assistance Donations.
