JUNIOR LEAGUE OF ANNAPOLIS, INC.’S “VOLUNTEERS ON THE RUN 5K”

WHAT: Junior League of Annapolis, Inc. (JLA), invites the community to participate in the fourth annual Volunteers on the Run 5K. Prizes will be presented for age groups 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 & over.  There will be a pre-race 100 yard dash for all children. Random post-race prizes will also be awarded for runners present.

WHO: This is a family friendly event for racers, runners, and walkers. Pets are invited to participate.

WHY: Proceeds from this event will go towards supporting the ongoing community outreach programs of JLA which include It’s Educational!, Homeless Outreach,  Public Advocacy, and Community Assistance Donations.

WHEN:  Sunday, September 19, 2010 at 8:30 AM

WHERE: Quiet Waters Park in Annapolis, Red Maple Pavilion
