Fourth of July Events in Anne Arundel County

Junior League of Annapolis members celebrate the Fourth of July all over Anne Arundel County, with a variety of fun and festive events for the whole family. Whether you’re looking to enjoy a parade, a fireworks display, or just a lively celebration, there’s something for everyone to enjoy this July 4th.

Annapolis

Events & Fireworks

• Parade: 6:30 PM, starting at Amos Garrett Blvd, down West Street, around Church Circle, and ending at Main Street.
• Fireworks: 9:15 PM over the harbor. Prime viewing spots include City Dock, the Naval Academy Bridge, and street-end parks facing Spa Creek.
• Additional Activities: The Historic Annapolis Celebration will run from 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM at the William Paca House & Garden, the Museum of Historic Annapolis, Hogshead Trades Museum, and Waterfront Warehouse. The Annapolis Fireworks Cruise offers a great view of the fireworks from the water.

Glen Burnie

• Details: Enjoy a community fireworks display to celebrate Independence Day.

Edgewater

• Time: 9:30 PM
• Location: American Legion Post 226
• Activities: The parade kicks off at noon, followed by live music from All You Need at 6:00 PM, food vendors, face painting, and more.

Severna Park

Independence Day Parade

• Date: Thursday, July 4, 2025
• Time: 10:00 AM to noon
• Activities: Decorated bike contest from 9:15 AM to 10:00 AM.

Shady Side

Parade

• Date: Thursday, July 4, 2025
• Time: Parade starts at 10:00 AM
• Route: The parade begins at Cedarhurst Road and West River Road.

Odenton

4th of July Celebration

• Date: Saturday, June 29, 2025
• Time: 6:30 PM to 10:00 PM
• Location: GORC Park
• Activities: Enjoy music, a moon bounce, food trucks, and a fireworks display.

Fort Meade

Red, White, and Blue Fort Meade Fireworks

• Date: Friday, June 28, 2025
• Time: 9:30 PM
• Location: McGlachlin Parade Field
• Access: Department of Defense cardholders can enter at 4:00 PM; the public can enter at 6:00 PM.
