COMMUNITY INVITED TO DONATE TO YOUNG MOTHERS

 

Junior League of Annapolis Soliciting Baby Supplies for Teen Mothers

Annapolis, MD [March 19, 2008] – Junior League of Annapolis, Inc., invites the public to Severna Park Safeway on Benfield Road on Friday, March 21, 2008 from noon to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday, March 22 from 10:00 a.m. to 4 :00 p.m.; and to Edgewater Food Lion on Solomons Island Road on Thursday March 27, 2008 from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Friday, March 28 from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. to make a donation for the creation of Baby Bags for the attendees of the Anne Arundel Medical Center 2008 teenage birthing classes.

Each bag will contain approximately $40.00 worth of health, safety and educational items to ensure their child a healthy first year.  A sample of items sought includes receiving blankets, pacifiers, and onesies.  A full list of items in need will be available with collection volunteers.
