Chevy’s in Annapolis to host fundraiser in support of Totes for the Children project on Wednesday, February 22, 2006

Annapolis, MD – [February 20, 2006] – On Wednesday, February 22, 2006, Chevys (located at 2436 Solomans Island Rd.) will donate 15% of their proceeds to the Junior League of Annapolis, Inc. (JLA) Totes for the Children project.  The JLA is supporting the Anne Arundel Medical Center (AAMC) Pediatric Unit through the Totes for the Children project.  Please contact the JLA office at (410) 224-8984 or visit the JLA website to download the Chevy’s voucher at www.jlannapolis.org for use on Wednesday.  The voucher must be present on Wednesday in order for JLA to receive the proceeds.

AAMC Pediatric Unit admits approximately 500 children annually ranging from 1 to 18 years old.  The JLA has created the Totes for the Children project to supply special items (such as toys, games, coloring books, etc.) for children admitted to the AAMC Pediatric Unit which will provide them with activities during their stay away from home.
