(ANNAPOLIS, MD) Junior League of Annapolis, Inc. (JLA) invites women in the community who are interested in learning more about joining the Junior League to attend one of their New Member Open Houses:

• Sunday, August 13, 2017 from 12:00 – 2:00 PM at J. KING’S Steak and Seafood Restaurant (329 Gambrills Rd, Gambrills, MD 21054)
• Thursday, September 7, 2017 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at BAROAK (126 West St, Annapolis, MD 21401)

All women over the age of 21 years, living in Anne Arundel County and its vicinity, are invited to attend the New Member Open House and apply for membership to the organization’s fall 2017 provisional training class.
The New Member Open House offers prospective members the opportunity to learn about the mission and activities of the Junior League, as well as the chance to speak with current members about their volunteer and social experiences within the organization.

The part of JLA’s mission that stands out is “that we are an organization of women who are committed to developing the potential in women, promoting volunteerism, and building leaders. Over the last 35 years, our league has strived to give back to the Anne Arundel community to support women and children through our initiatives” says Provisional Co‐Chair Catherine Stuart.
