Highlights:

• Children’s Carousel raised $56,305.76
• Projects:  Children’s Discovery Workshop, Kids on the Block, Movin’ On, Parenting and Drugs, Students Against Shoplifting
• New Projects Approved:  Basics for Teen Mothers, Data Bank-Historic Annapolis, Hospice:  Caring for life, Woman to Woman
• Donations made to the Sexual Abuse Crisis Center, Arundel Hospice, YWCA Women’s Center, Anne Arundel County Shelter for the Homeless, Woods Adult Day Care, Junior League of Mexico City – earthquake relief, and Maryland Art Place for a total of $6,300
• The Public Affairs Committee hosted the Legislative Night and added a new position statement addressing the hospice movement
• Hired a part-time secretary for the headquarters and purchased a computer for the League
• Redesigned the Fun and Fellowship Committee to control social events spending within committees
• Instituted a Boutique fund-raiser in the Fall
• Students Against Shoplifting exhibited at Annual Conference
• Appointed a Transfer Committee
