It's Educational!
It's Elementary! is a combination of Bookbag, Kids in the Kitchen and Children's Literacy. Members work to enhance the educational experience of Anne Arundel County students in need by focusing on nutrition through AJLI’s anti-obesity initiative, Kids in the Kitchen, by annually preparing 1,000 backpacks filled with school supplies and by doing early education literacy with Talk, Play, Read.
Homeless Outreach
Members provide support and educational services for women and children experiencing homelessness to help with the transition from homelessness to self-sufficiency.
Done In A Day (DIAD)
These one-time special projects are completed in a short period of time and meet a specific community need in Anne Arundel County that is in sync with JLA’s mission and community programs.
