Join fellow Junior Leaguers as we tailgate on the St. John’s campus and cheer on our favorite team while we enjoy an afternoon of adult beverages, delicious desserts, and other scrumptious snacks made by fellow League members.

In true prep-style, don’t forget to RSVP if you plan to join the official {and highly sought-after} Junior League of Annapolis – Annapolis Cup Tailgate, hosted by our lovely Internal Communications Committee.

The Details:

• Doors open at 10 am
• Game starts at 1 pm
• Tailgate location is on the left side of the walkway, leading up to McDowell Hall. Or, just look for our signs!

The Rules:

• Wine and beer can only be purchased with a drink ticket.
• Drink tickets are $5 and sold at specific Ticket Tents (different form the Wine & Beer Stations).
• The Ticket Tents only accept cash.
• The Wine & Beer Stations only accept drink tickets.
• Wine and beer will be on sale starting at noon.

Last night several active members joined prospective members for another successful New Member Open House at Four Seasons Grille in Westfield Annapolis. We had a wonderful turnout and enjoyed mingling with many potential members. Don’t worry if you or your friend couldn’t make it. Swan Lake at Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts

Looking to indulge in the arts? Be sure to join fellow Junior Leaguers for a special group gathering, courtesy of our amazing Internal Communications Committee (shout-out to ICC!) to see Swan Lake, performed by the Ballet Theatre of Maryland. Space is limited!

Casino Night Gala Event

Purchase Tickets: Friday, March 28 at 7:30 pm {7:00 pm VIP Guests}

Join us for our annual black-tie optional event, Casino Night, featuring open bar, casino games, silent and live auction and heavy hors d’oeuvres. VIP tickets include an early reception and swag back {limited one per couple; limited number available}. Register early for your VIP ticket and have your name included in the official Casino Night program.

Also, gigantic shout-out to the phenomenal Gala Committee for all their hard work thus far this year. You won’t believe the fantastic silent and live auction items they have in store for this year’s Casino Night. Stay tuned as we roll-out a post next week on what you can expect to bid on at Casino Night. And by “bid on” we really mean “items for which you will obsessively hover over and potentially push and shove your way to win.” However, we do not condone violence and are in no way responsible for any pushing, shoving or screaming that may take place during the bidding process. After-all, we are a group of refined and sophisticated ladies.

VIP guests should arrive at 7 pm. General admission begins at 7:30 pm.

On Saturday, October 12th, enjoy an exclusive tour, hosted by the Internal Communications Committee, at local Maryland favorite, Boordy Vineyards. Your private tour with fellow Junior League of Annapolis, Inc. members will include a special winery tour, wine glass, six wine samplings, and a selection of locally made cheddar cheese and crackers.

Your tour bus will leave Annapolis at 11:30 am, arriving at Boordy around 1 pm. Expect to return to Annapolis by 4 pm. This event is currently limited only to Junior League of Annapolis members.
