In 2015, Junior League of Annapolis, Inc. (JLA) initiated the multi-year Read 2 Kids program, partnering on multiple projects with Anne Arundel County Schools, including a Little Free Library kiosk in high-need neighborhoods offering multiple grade level books.

Children and parents will be able to pick up books to take home and keep or exchange them for other books. JLA will also host reading fun days throughout the school year, encouraging parents and children to read together. Read 2 Kids and JLA is also proud to support Books for Babies at Anne Arundel Medical Center.

Read 2 Kids’s mission is to provide disadvantaged children with new books and to see every single one of them read, learn and succeed. Read 2 Kids makes new, high-quality books available to schools and programs serving children from low-income families.
