Amazon Smile – a simple and automatic way for you to support the JLA every time you shop, at no cost to you.

The Junior League of Annapolis, Inc. participates in the AmazonSmile Program.  AmazonSmile is a website operated by Amazon that lets you enjoy the same wide selection of products, low prices, and convenient shopping features as on Amazon.com.  The difference is that when you shop on AmazonSmile (smile.amazon.com), the AmazonSmile Foundation will donate 0.5% of the purchase price to the eligible charitable organization of your choice.  Go to http://smile.amazon.com, enter your username and password, and then type in Junior League of Annapolis. Then, shop for all your favorites at Amazon, and have them donate a percentage of the purchase to our organization.  Many, though not all, products are eligible for donations- look for “Eligible for AmazonSmile donation” on their product detail pages.  *Please note that the donations are made by the AmazonSmile Foundation and are not tax deductible by you.

If you shop Amazon through a mobile app, you will need to turn it on for each device you shop with, see instructions below:

Step 1: Search Amazon Smile in the app, click “Amazon Smile Sign In”

Step 2: Click the Amazon Smile icon at the top of the search page

Step 3: Make sure you have turned on the device and that you have chosen Junior League of Annapolis Inc as your charity. This is also how you can find out how much you have contributed through the mobile app.

To track your contribution vis the Amazon desktop site, once you have chosen the Junior League of Annapolis, Inc., click on the orange “Supporting” link located in the upper left side of the landing page. Your contribution will calculate after your items have shipped. To count your Amazon Smile contribution toward your Financial Points, please take a screen shot of this information and submit it to Financialstrategies@jlannapolis.org and Placement@JLAnnapolis.org.
