National Voter Registration Day
5 – 6:30 pm
JLA spent the afternoon teaching children about the importance of voting and how to understand the electoral college through a fun cooking activity.

October 23,2016
Chesapeake Children’s Museum
5 – 7 pm
Volunteer to spruce up the museum by engaging in some light gardening, organizing the library, sprucing up the “medical room,” etc.

November 13, 2016
Lighthouse Shelter Lunches (LHS)
11 am – 1:30 pm
JLA will prepare lunch for 30 guests at LHS. The menu includes soups, salads, and sandwiches. Lunches can be prepared ahead of time.
