Heather Medina is currently serving in the Parliamentarian role. Since joining the Junior League of Annapolis, Inc. (JLA) in 2014, Heather has served as Co-Chair of the Financial Strategies Committee from 2015-2017, on the Governance Board as the At-Large Director from 2015-2016 and on the Cookbook Committee from 2014-2015. She was also a recipient of the JLA’s Janus Award in 2016.
Heather is a strategic development and communications professional with over 10 years of experience in non-profit fundraising, event, and volunteer management. She currently works in higher education development, but previously has advanced the mission of several national healthcare and research organizations.
In addition to her volunteer work with JLA, she serves on the Ursinus College National Council for the Washington, DC area. She holds a BA in International Relations and Spanish and is pursuing a Master’s Degree in Management. An Upstate NY native, she resides in Laurel with her husband.
